Trauma & EMDR
Some memories don't stay in the past. They show up in your body, your sleep, the way you brace for things. EMDR is a researched approach that helps your mind file those memories where they belong, so they stop hijacking an ordinary day.
I'm certified in both EMDR and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), and we don't have to go over every detail for either to work. You stay in control of the pace the whole time.

Couples & marriage
Landing in the same argument over and over wears down even a good marriage. With the Gottman Method, I help couples slow the fight down, repair trust, and remember how to turn toward each other again.
For military couples, that often means finding each other after a long stretch apart. You don't have to be in crisis to come in. Earlier is easier.

Anxiety & depression
The racing thoughts, the tight chest, the snapping at people you love. Or the flat, heavy days when the color drains out of things. Both are more common than people admit, and both respond to real work.
We look at what's underneath, and at what actually helps you get through a week, not just talk about it. I also work with OCD, ADHD, bipolar and mood disorders, self-esteem, and big life transitions.
Counseling that fits your real life
We meet in person in Pensacola or by secure video anywhere in Florida, at home, on base, or in between. It's the same care, just without the drive, and many clients mix the two depending on the week.
